In 10 starts he captured only 1 win, 4 pole awards, 9 top 5 finishes and 1 DNF; he also captured 12 bonus points giving him a small 7 point gap over Spike.  Breeze pulled off his first league victory at Homestead (AKA Miami) Friday night with a late race outside pass setting up the #79 driver for automatic entry into the upcoming All-Star race! Breeze's win marks the seventh different winner in ten championship events this season! Spike, Donaldson, DusterLag and BlackKnight wrap up the top five. Donaldson likely captures the driver championship by seven points over Spike, eighteen over DusterLag and nineteen over Patch. Amazingly NHRL Racing, with sole-driver lepage71, likely captures the team championship over Twisted Metal and Cyber Racing after an amazing three wins in only six starts! lepage71 Pulls Away at Richmond |

 lepage71 pulled away from the field at Richmond after tight battling between five drivers in the opening laps. It looked like anyone's race early with constant lead changes including passes low and high but eventually lepage71 would break through the field with the help of Spike and lead the most lap en route to victory. Spike ran the fastest lap of the race finishing second, Donaldson captured the pole award finishing third, Ryano! achieved the hard charger award finishing fourth while Patch wraps up a strong top five. Donaldson's lead drops by one point to eight over Spike in the driver championship while Patch and DusterLag trail by fifteen. With only one championship event remaining - the driver championship is still up for grabs and anything can happen. NHRL Racing, with driver lepage71, likely clinches the team championship over Twisted Metal, Cyber Racing and Online Bangers after capturing their third win of the season. Patch Never Looked Back - Dominating Sears Point |

 Patch never looked back Friday night as he dominated Sears Point. Spike captured the pole award by half a second over affro740 but it wouldn't matter once the green flag flew as third place qualifier Patch would take the lead on lap 2 and drive away from the field. Spike and affro740 had strong runs finishing second and third respectively while Donaldson and Ryano! wrap up the top five. Donaldson was able to increase his lead in the driver championship from seven to nine over DusterLag and Spike who are now tied in points for second. Patch now trails by eleven points in fourth. Spike and Patch both reduced their gap to Donaldson but he will be tough to catch with just two races remaining. After missing another event, NHRL Racing, with sole driver lepage71, easily maintains their strong and impressive average finish as they lead the team championship over Twisted Metal and new comer Online Bangers who moved into third over Cyber Racing.  lepage71 held off Donaldson in the closing laps Friday night at NashvilleFG to capture his second consecutive victory after a tight race-long battle. Patch captured the pole award but quickly faded while lepage71 and Donaldson drove away from the remainder of the field. Slight contact with the outside wall allowed lepage71 to re-take the lead from Donaldson who had begun to create a gap - Donaldson would not be able to pass lepage71 again having to settle for second. The Online Banger team members Ryano!, Toward27 and affro740 wrap up the top five with strong finishes. Donaldson breaks away from DusterLag in the driver championship with a seven point lead after DusterLag suffered self-inflicted damage early. Spike loosed ground, now fourteen points back while lepage71 moves to seventh in points just twenty-four points back leaving drivers wondering if he can make it to the top during the remaining three races. NHRL Racing, with their sole driver lepage71, improves their average finish yet again with a win as they lead the team championship over Twisted Metal and Cyber Racing. View complete results here. |
